Name: Nick Age: 18 Location: Pensacola, FL AIM Screen Name: survivornyck Email Addy: survivor_freak_16@yahoo.com Any past ORG experiences: I have been playing since I was 14, but I will just list a few of my favorite games. Survivor: China - 2nd place, Survivor: Antarctica - 2nd place, Survivor Canada British Columbia - 5th place, Survivor Canada All Stars - 3rd place, Survivor Canada Ontario - 4th place, Survivor Seychelles - Winner Briefly describe yourself as a player: I am more of a strategist than a social player, which could be due to the fact that I am not crazy about a lot of people. I am never the one that everybody loves. I am the one that gets that person out. I'm a very vengeful and spiteful player as well. If someone betrays me or talks shit about me and I find out, I can't help but let loose on the little asshole that did it. Then I do everything I can to get that person out. I also like to get out cocky motherfuckers. There is NO better feeling than blindsiding some arrogant little bastard and then cackling about it afterward. I enjoy backstabbing people and then trying to do damage control or getting in a huge fight afterward. If I end up in a minority alliance I always seem to go on an Immunity run. I'm a very competitive player. 3 words that describe your personality: Bitchy, independent, humorous Favorite food: Italian food How many hours a week do you spend online?: It's gotta be at least 50. Depends on if I party and have to have recovery time. What would be your initial strategy?: Try to get to know everyone as much as possible so they'll think I'm interested in all of them (but I will probably only like a couple people). Try to make at least a couple of alliances within the first few days in case my tribe loses the first challenge. OR if there are two competing alliances on the tribe, be in the middle of them. Don't suck in the first few challenges and don't go off on anyone until at least after my tribe's first TC. That would pretty much be my strategy going in. I would have to adapt based on how I get along with the other players though. Favorite movie: Mean Girls iSurv1vor has the reputation of being a pretty hardcore game: -Why should you be chosen to play over all the other applicants? -What makes you stand out? These questions are kinda the same so I'm just gonna make them into one big-ass answer. This is a hardcore game? I am a hardcore player. I'm tired of being in games where people think they are playing Care Bears and eating cotton candy. I have personality and I can play the game well, which I kind of find to be rare. A lot of people are great players but they are a big ass snore. ZZZZZZZ. A lot of people are ridiculous but cannot play worth shit. But yeah I am out there and I can play the game well. I am not afraid of confrontation, and I always speak my mind. I am always active, and I always give every game 100% because I want to *WIN*. You know what? I forgot to mention that I am a potty mouth so if that bothers anyone they can cover their ears. I'm smart, I'm social, I'm bitchy, I'm outspoken, I'm argumentative, I'm a risk-taker, I like controversy, I like laughing, and there's a lot more I could show if you put me in the game. I'm not all evil bitch though, I am very nice and genuine if I like someone or get along well with them. I'm gonna be me and nothing else and if you don't like it you don't gotta like it. I also provide some pretty entertaining confessionals ^_^. Favorite song: Don't have a favorite song in particular. I like female rappers and electronica the most. What is the craziest thing you have ever done?: Hmm... I guess this is a pretty crazy story: I chugged 4 beers, and then an entire bottle of vodka. I'm 120 pounds so what do you think that did to me? I could barely walk into my favorite club, and when I got in there I passed out on a guy who would become my friend a couple weeks later. Then I woke up but passed out again in the women's bathroom. I got carried out of the club Lindsay Lohan style by a muscular drag queen. He carried me out the side exit and dumped me in my friend's car. I slept in the car and then was driven to my friend's house where I tried to fight my other friend who was talking shit in the next room. Then I rolled around in the grass outside for about 4 hours and looked at magazines with a couple friends. Shit that's just one of my partying stories I have a lot and they are mostly all equally riduculous. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?: I see myself with a very long-term boyfriend who is amazing physically and personality-wise. I will either be a photographer, a wildlife researcher/conservationist, or a wildlife photographer. I would want to have a side career having something to do with fashion. I, hopefully, will have already been on Survivor, Big Brother, or Big Brother UK. My boyfriend and I will live in either Florida, New York City, or the UK, but travel for work. I will have a pomeranian named Chanelle, and some cats named Bonnie, Diamond, Makosi, and possibly Courtney. I will be tatted up and still have my facial piercings. If all that shit happened it would be amazing hahahah.

Heather: Yep, based on her rep, she HAS TO BE CAST!! Even without you saying she's getting in Sandy, I'd have said she was one of my top 3 favorites of the girls. She's a proven winner and a proven strategist. Course, know we'll have 2 very good chicks named Heather, so we'll need to start adding their last inital.
Robert: Eh, he's a pretty boy and that's about it. He seems really jock like.
Nick: This guy is awesome. He could be a real treat to watch as he tries to kick everyone's ass. Sandy, with the cast being as good as it's been, you still sure you wanna do just 16 people? We've got a ton of good characters this time.
2 girls: I'm guessing that would be Amanda and Monique right? I had them apply, so hopefully our girls will be even more stacked. Course what that almost means is that we can have a balanced gender season again, which is always awesome.

Robert's sexy! He sounds a little boring though. Heather sounds like a kick ass chick, and having two Heathers would be awsome. Nick is cute and gay and bitchy. I think he has a lot lot of potential.

Yeah, Heather seems to rock. Robert is pretty lackluster. And for some reason I'm getting Aroh-ian vibes from Nick...He looks GREAT on paper, but he really sounds like someone who could just flip out like Aroh and mess things up...I just say "proceed with caution" with Nick... And Andrew, 16 people is quite enough!

lol of course it is Tom. That's why we had to resort to bringing Kenyon back because Aroh and Travis nearly ruined Cambodia by quitting. Besides, variety is the spice of life, didn't you know? Another note, going by Sandy's rankings, 2 of our 3 best seasons ever came with larger casts, including our beloved China. And that IMO is because with a bigger cast, you have more good players to make up for the 2 or 3 crappy ones. But if 16 is what we have to have, I'll quit yipping about this.....at least until next season, lol.
Actually, I kinda get Skylar vibes from Nick. He's abrasive, which could be a good thing entertainment wise. And we can see if he's for real strategy wise. Plus, he's played quite a few games, unlike Aroh, so Nick knows what he's getting himself into and I doubt he'd quit over an unpopular twist.
I completely agree about Robert though, not all that interesting.

...but what if you just flat-out replace the 2 or 3 "crappy ones" at the start and just have these 2 or 3 "good players" in their place? You would still have 16 then.
The way I see it, the more people you have, it's just the more likely that you WON'T have good players and good activity. China actually exemplifies this perfectly. Yes it was the greatest season, but it had a TON of worthless people at the beginning. The thing that made it great though is that they were among the first 12 voted out! Save for Jonty, of course. It just happened to work out that all of the worthless people fell by the wayside and all of the good people stayed in. In the end, we truly had a final 12 of active, dynamic characters, and it was a blast.

I love the debating going on in here. Heather #2 - all around greatness. Andrew you are correct another Amanda applied and Monique as well, thanks for recruiting!! You rock! ;D Robert - Nice to look at, but nothing popped out about him. The 'later' applicants have it a little bit harder than the 'early' applicants. By now we all have our favs and it takes a REALLY impressive application to crack into my top. He doesn't cut it. Nick - Aroh Flashbacks!! His application was a novel, and you really got to know him from it. Tom, you mentioning Aroh makes me want to check Aroh's IP and compare it with all the top applicants . I don't need to have another near death heart attack this season!! About having 16 players this season... Without spoiling anything for ya'll, I need 16 castaways just to start the season off. Thank you very much. And with our abundance of girls applicants -- 8 + 8 if the new Amanda and Monique are well received? That will definitely eliminate Kirin. If not, I am more than satisfied with 6 or 7.

It just happened to work out that all of the worthless people fell by the wayside and all of the good people stayed in. In the end, we truly had a final 12 of active, dynamic characters, and it was a blast. Well sure, that is the disadvantage of having more than 16 castaways, that you're more likely to have a couple of crap players. But on the other hand, look at Cambodia. We had what we thought to be the best 16 people around. And to be very fair, Cambodia was the best overall cast we've had. HOWEVER, if we had had 18 people instead of 16, who would we have added? Likely Michelle and Artist. Having those 2 from the start would have made for a lot fewer headaches for us, (okay more like you and Sandy since I went MIA for most of the season once it actually got rolling) during the actual game when Amanda and Aroh didn't pan out so hot for us. Instead of us having to panic and replace them DURING THE GAME, we could have had our backups and things run far more smoothly. I mean, let's face it. We aren't psychics here. We don't know who's gonna be active or inactive once the show starts. Look at Amanda from last season. She has a reputation has a very active player. But just 2 days before the season starts, she suddenly has computer issues. And again, we can bash Aroh for quitting all we want to, but let's be real here. At the time he applied, we thought Aroh was gonna be 100% dedicated to this game, he was very active and VERY excitied to be playing this game. We all know it. It wasn't till after the game actually started when he turned into a sniveling little bitch about it. Fact is, we don't know who can cut it until we find out after the fact, which is why having more people again helps, we can be ready for emergencies like that. So really, just because we have fewer numbers to reduce our risk of having "crappy" players, doesn't mean we'll be immune from them. Last season was the perfect example. I'm not neccesarily saying having 16 is a bad thiing, it's usually a good thing. 16 is a good number for Survivor and Surv1vor. The problem is having 16 every single season is boring as just not as exciting as it is when you mix it up. However, as Sandy has already said, his twist this season requires 16 people, and for that reason I'll give up on trying to talk everyone into casting more people this season. But I don't think having 18 to 20 people is such a bad thing either.

Andrew you won't be dissappointed about the numbers thing, I'm ALL ears. Alls we need is 16 people selected from this applicant pool.
Hopefully it will make you happy.

yeah, we'll I do apologize if i'm offended anyone by what I'm saying. I'm really just making a case about why having more than 16 people in general isn't bad.
really, I'm totally for your numbers twist and I'm sure it's gonna work out great. I really don't mean to be diva or anything and suggest that things gotta work my way or else....just making an argument, you know....

Oh no Andrew not that I think ur being a diva, but if that's what you consider a diva, continue please! I like that you have strong opinions about how you think things should work out, seriously! I'm a host that needs/loves to hear other people's opinion. Over the last few seasons..it's really what has formed my games.
