China took place right after Greece, the third season. During China I finally found myself as a host, kinda. I really got into the swing of how I like to setup my games. At the time, it was by far the most successful season. Why? First off I took a big risk starting with 24 people. Casting wasn't as big of a deal to me back then as it is nowadays, and despite the large number I was quite happy with the personalities that emerged. Halfway through the game we were left with twelve great people. China was filled with a cast to remember. Deighton: Who would forget white Deighton? He wasn't afraid to speak his mind and had many enemies (Skylar, Chelsea, Conny). He was great to watch. I thought he was going to win for a moment in the game. Skylar: The winner of the game, and by far the most disliked person to partake in a iSurv1vor game. If you like him, hate him, whatever - you can't forget this guy. However insulting and crude he was, you can't forget him. Richard: At the time of China he was by far the smartest player to ever be in one of my games. He found the idol, made alliances with other smart players (Chelsea, Tom), and was a joy to watch. The only thing I regret is him not winning, he really deserved it. Tom: You were one of the more comical ones in China. I knew you were going to make it far, but there was a moment in the game after Jonty was voted out that I feared for your life. You played it incredibly smart. You shocked me when you made a deal with the Sly Sky when Deighton and Donna were voted out. Stellar casting job on you if I say so myself . Conny: She was one crazy Brit. I never knew if I should take her seriously or not. I knew she didn't have the gusto to win the game..it was fun watching her make it as far as she did. Chelsea: She was one of the more interesting girls I've casted when China was in production. I really was pulling for her. If only she had not taken Richard to the finals, I think things would have ended up differently. It sucks that she did take Richard, and he didn't end up winning either. Jonty: The original drama queen of China. Watching her play was the best. I remember sitting backing and just laughing when reading her confessionals and things people would say about her. When I think of China, Jonty always pops into my mind... Twists: Red Rover was something I will always remember. For those who don't know it was a kidnapping twist, similar to Cambodia's kidnapping twist but not exactly. In China whichever tribe won the Red Rover Reward challenge had a choice...to kidnap someone from the opposing tribe - or banish someone from their current tribe. It helped some people like Tom, Richard and Chelsea (numerous times). Although it screwed some people like Jonty, and poor Matt the Godfather. It was one of my fav twists of the past. It added a dynamic to the game not seen in my past cycles. I like keeping people on their toes... Not only was the cast great, but I had support of two co-hosts which made the game more enjoyable for myself, on the hosting side of things. Landon played in iSurv1vor Patagonia, and iSurv1vor Greek Isles. He's been a great friend of mind since forever. He was the leader of some Tribal Councils and helped out with twists during the season. Having him there made the season more enjoyable. I'm sorry most people dislike him . Cody was one of the stars of Greece. He hopped on board and helped me with China too. He was my co-pilot and the creator of iSurv1vor Live! There was a time during China where my apartment was without Internet for about a week and Cody took the bull by the horns and led the way. I will love him forever for that. He did that in Egypt too. Cody rocks. I hope I haven't missed anything. I hope the above has justified the amazingness that China was. From the cast - to the twists - it was my favorite season to host. One negative aspect to China was the constant Immunity wins Skylar pulled out, reminiscent of Colby and Terry from the CBS series . His constant taunting was funny to watch, but him always being safe made it a tad boring at times. Personally China goes down as the best season - with the worst winner, haha.

Well it took me a while to decide which season came second. It was a close call between Cambodia and Greece. Cambodia beat out Greece for a few different reasons. The cast was a bit more diverse and memorable. Not only that, but the approach I took when planning Cambodia was better than that of Greece. Cambodia ran smooth the entire way through, and was super fast paced. (Greece had a few bumps with Xmas 06 break and all). We have a lot of Cambodia Alumni here, they know how the game went, each with their own memories and experiences to take with them. Tom and Andrew you two were my wingmen last season - you know all that went into it and I'm pretty sure you can say it was rather successful. Cambodia had the strongest cast hands down. Aroh: He and Cambodia will go hand and hand forever. He will go down as the smartest player in the season, and as the dude who quit twice. Darcy: Next to Christina, IMO, she will be remembered for being debatably the smartest girl last season. Her dislike for Christina was a major factor in the post-merge story arch. It ultimately led to her demise as well. I will remember Darcy. Christina: I predicted our winner to get sent home early, being on the all male tribe and her strategy was flirting. Tom, Andrew, and I chuckled at that when casting her. She was underrated, underestimated, and made everyone's head spin toward the end of the game. Anyone who says anything different is lying. Her personality and gameplay will be remember, not only that but she won . Taylor: Enough Said. Kenyon: The first outcast ever in iSurv1vor History will go down in the history books. Not only that but Kenyon had the charm, and personality that attracted me to him (as a viewer). I won't like there were times early on in the game where I was like "ugh" because of this his association with Aroh, but when he came back - he brought a new dimension of himself to the game. There are plenty other great characters Cambodia had to offer...KJ, Keisha, Jia, Casey...etc... However annoying the kidnapping twist was, it added a crazy element to the game. No one could ever have a set gameplan because things would change on a day by day basis. This was awesome! One a down note, the Secret Partner twist looked great on paper but didn't quite work out how I had envisioned. I tried to think of a clever way to do it - I thought I had it down. Now that its over and done with, I would have definitely re-thunk my approach. I guess it turned out decently, and it makes Cambodia memorable because it was sooo different. The fast pace, amazing and active cast, fun twists, and Tom + Andrew definitely puts Cambodia up on my ranking. Also, more than any other season - I leave with SO many close friendships; Christina, Kenyon, KJ, Bridget, Keisha, Kyle, Taylor, Tom, Andrew.. I think throughout the course of Cambodia we've all built a great friendship. I've grown closer to each of you and that right there is better than Cambodia being a complete success. Again, hopefully my comments above do Cambodia justice. It was a pleasure hosting it, omg, so much fun ;D!!

Yeah, I think it is awesome how we've bonded over the game of these past couple of seasons. I think the decision to have the almuni help out with casting and twists helped out because it got us all involved in the process, meaning we got to interact more. Not to mention it's made for better seasons, (at least so far, lol). No matter how you cut it though, I think it's awesome how we've bonded over an internet game of Survivor.

heh, at least your taking your loss well. I'd have been pissed as hell about it. although I gotta admit Red Rover sounds pretty cool.
Perhaps our next topic should be what the best twist of all time were. I bet Pharoahs vs. Slaves would rank high there.

Where to start... Greek Isles was a fun game. I had to sift through my iSurv1vor memory files for a bit, but after doing so I have a few highlights that make Greek Isles great. Greece started with 6 players on 3 different tribes. This was the first time I hosted a game that started differently than the regular Survivor setup of 8 vs 8. I guess thats helps it stand out a bit. Greece had some super characters, some of which are now great friends of mine. Cody: He was the best player in the game. He quickly solidified a threeway alliance of himself, Tachelle, and Amanda. He layed low pre-merge until he was reunited with his girl counterparts. Post Merge is where he really started gaining control. He basically carried Tachelle and Amanda to the finals. Sadly, he got third place when Amanda won the final challenge and voted him out. Cody remains as one of my alltime favorite castaways ever. Tachelle: Never have we had another castaway like Tachelle, male or female. She lives in the heart of Queens, NY and you could definitely tell by her personality. She was the 'says it how she sees it' type of player, and wasn't afraid to open her mouth. She was friendly to those who she needed, and heartless to those who stood in her way. Her and Cody were close throughout the entire game..it was one of the first Duo's I came to love in iSurv1vor. Too bad Tachelle hates me and Landon lol. ! Kyle: He was the first castaway in iSurv1vor history to possess a Hidden Idol. He used it to his advantage in Greece when he played his idol and sent Meeta to the jury. It was by far one of the most memorable moments of the season. Kyle was in power almost the entire first half of the game, until the merge came and Cody quickly changed that. Kyle is still a standout. Sammi: How could you forget this girl? When new tribes were made, Tachelle and Kyle both picked players and it ended up that one whole tribe was all females, and the other all males. Tachelle chose the females and Kyle opted to take all the males. A few rounds of Battle of the Sexes and a Mutiny twist arrived. Right at the last minute Sammi mutinied against the females and joined the mens tribe. She eventually led the mens tribe to a few immunity wins thereafter. She was sarcastic, opinionated, sneaky, and lovable all at the same time. When the tribes merged her actions came back to bite her when she was voted out first just missing the jury. Kumi: Not like Kumi had any shot at winning the game, but you can't forget her. When I talk to past players about the game, we always seem to mention Kumi, even for a few minutes. Cookies anyone? Landon: His second chance in an iSurv1vor game and Landon rocked the house. He continued with his sneaky ways, and managed to irritate just about everyone in the game. He didn't win, but he was so fun to watch again. The non-planned Battle of the Sexes was like striking gold. It couldn't have worked out better if I planned it. I didn't so it was just amazing when it occurred. The females beat the men repeatedly in challenges until Sammi mutinied and brought the men victory. These series of events makes Greece stand out for sure. Not to mention, Amanda, Tachelle, and Cody have been the only castaways in iSurv1vor history to make the final 3 - all having been from the same original tribe. The three of them played everyone else like fiddles. It was Survivor at its best! One downside -- Cody was robbed. Both Amanda and Tachelle relied on Cody throughout the game. He did a lot of their dirty work. In the end Amanda (who definitely was the worst player out of the three) lost to Tachelle in the finals. Tachelle actually had an argument, Amanda...really didn't. Again, I cross my fingers I hit all the points and highlights I wanted to.
